360Flex was the first conference dedicated entirely to Adobe Flex. I remember presenting on Flex Data Services, which eventually became LiveCycle Data Services (LCDS). And it is still a regular presentation at the 360 conferences, just not given by me anymore now that the community has grown. This year 360Flex landed in Washington, DC where I presented on LiveCycle Collaboration Services (LCCS). Hindsight being what it is, I should have called it "Collaborate Your Butt Off." Unlike most conferences, there was no bag at this event - a small pile of various goodies were handed out at registration, which I stuffed in my bag. I later took them up to my room to lighten my load at lunch. As a speaker, I got a gray 360Flex speaker t-shirt. Being the size that I am, most of these end up coming home for Marna to wear. Garth Braithwaite from RIA Radio was there, and he kindly gave me an RIA Radio t-shirt. At a 360Flex event earlier in the year, I was interviewed by RIA Radio. The "We Love Doug" pin is a joke about Doug McCune. I'd go into it, but really, it's kind of a location joke. An interesting addition to the typical conference gear was the 360Flex cozy for keeping you, um, conference beverage cold. I have a neighbor who always uses a cozy, so that will probably go to him so he can sport some tech love. Overall the conference was a success, and I had a great time catching up with all the regulars.
