Dark green placemats. Cheap pool table cloth. Blue and white checkered tablecloth Dark Green Placemats
Huck Spot Placemats They've been done for a while, but I finally got around to photographing them now that it's Fall and I've changed the table linens. Pattern is simple 5-end huck spots offset every repeat so they form diagonal lines; yarn is Valley Yarns Hampshire Brights (a long-discontinued 6/2/2 cotton), sett is 12 epi; warp was 14.5" in the reed, and each placemat was woven to 21" under tension; finished size is 12.5" x 17" plus 1/2" of fringe on either end. Here they share the table with a green table runner I wove last fall -- the dark stripes on the table runner are the same 6/2/2 cotton. I wove a total of 4 placemats plus a slightly larger (20" long) table mat (this was actually the sample which turned out too long). Beach closeup
Closeup of stitching from "The Beach Placemat". The background is a plain calico that I sponge - painted with acrylic paints mixed with a textile medium. I mixed yellows and browns and a creamy metallic which is what gives the shiny sand effect Related topics: history of sanitary napkin linen pants and shirt history of napkin folding linen fabric for curtains custom bed linen western paper napkins linen pants pattern disposable sanitary napkins black linen pants for women placemats print |
