Check your system, go to AFIN.NET site, download a copy,
prepare your Excel and start AFIN.NET.

Note:
You ought to have Microsoft Office Excel installed on your hard disk. The supported versions are: XP/2003/2007/2010(!).    
Some options depend on configuration of your system, Office or Excel. Full list of known exceptions is being prepared.    
Download a AFIN.NET and install it in the standard way.

Hint: If you intend only to update AFIN.NET, go to http://afin.net/downloads/update , download all the files there, move them into [AFIN.NET.Folder] (change old files) and restart AFIN.NET (don't reinstall it). It will reregister DLL files. Confirm and go with new features!

You have to perform some actions before you run AFIN.NET for first time:      
Note: You have to run your system with the administrator rights (only once, while first running, on Vista turn off the User Account Control).

1. Run Microsoft Excel    

2. Switch the default restrictions for running macros in your Excel from 'very high' or 'high' (default) to 'medium' (recommended!) or 'low' level (not recommended).
    in Excel 2000, Excel XP, Excel 2003: Tools / Macro / Security / MEDIUM    
    in Excel 2007: Office button / Excel options (at the bottom) / Trust Center / Trust Center Settings ... / Macro Settings / DISABLE ALL MACROS WITH NOTIFICATION


Start AFIN.NET

1. Run AFIN.NET - Let's start!     
First time start …\AFIN.NET\AFIN.NET.xla (Icon on your desktop)     
Or, if you prefer, start Excel and simply open a file …\AFIN.NET\AFIN.NET.xla

2. You may be asked for confirming the registration [AFIN.NET.Folder]\AFIN.DLL in your system. As we said, the installation process is done very clearly for the user - other programs register tens of DLLs during instalation without informing you about it.     

When asked whether macros are able to run, choose "Enable"     
While using Excel 2007 this message may scare you: "Potencial problem" is signalized. There's no problem. Choose "Enable macros"     
    Or, if you prefer, change macro's security level to 'Low' (described above) and you will not be asked anymore (not recommended).
