Making krumkaker at Christmas is one of my earnest attempts at assimilating in Norway, and every year I am disappointed with the outcome as my krumkaker always turn out a little chewy. But this year I struck pay dirt! Tor Hakon sent me his great-grandmother's recipe which has produced the lightest, crispiest krumkaker I have ever managed. Woo-hoo! The secret?
