Arlington Central Library Garden

Library Garden Videos

In conjunction
with a spring library series on sustainable urban agriculture, a demonstration vegetable and herb garden is being planted at Arlington's Central Library by volunteers from USDA People's Garden Initiative, AFAC's Plot Against Hunger, the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority and Girl Scout Troop 1431. All harvests will eventually be donated to AFAC.

The garden is located at the rear entrance to the library. Please stop by and check it out (and be sure to view the video series to the right (10 episodes from the library) and the slide shows of the garden progress below).

You can also follow the progress of the garden at the Central Library's blog, just click on this link: Arlington County Library's Vegetable Garden Blog Posts
