A few highlights over the years:
100 Recent Shots:
Summer 2009
Plunking along...
Attended a fun little private birthday party with Kelley McGuire and Friends providing the entertainment.
Also enjoyed a fun Fourth of July on Galveston Bay!
Spring 2009 - Things are starting to get back into shape as we've been reassembling the pieces. One really super activity that help was joining up with the Krewe Du Lac !
Pub Krawl
King's Cake
Kemah Truck Parade
Krewe De Lac Takes on Galveston
Good medicine was also found at the annual Oleanders Party !!
And on a happy front, young son Joe graduated !!!
Winter 2008 - After 27 years of marriage, it's time to undergo a transition. Enough said...
Autumn 2008 - Thanks to the crap from Hurricane Ike, Ballunar Festival was cancelled this year.
Still, there was plenty to do...
I got to shoot my first wedding. Wow, what a job!!! Took over 1500 pictures and crafted up a 5 part movie to capture the event
Life after Hurricane Ike returned a bit back to normal at the Clifton's Music Festival. Twas a great event to celebrate the reopening of a historical musical gathering spot on Galveston Bay.
On the cultural front, we got the assignment to cover Celtic Festival which was a most enjoyable event.
Immediately following Ike, we joined up with the Benevolent Musicians Society, the Galveston Bay Area Musicians Alliance, and an event called IkeFest which has become a life of its own...
Finally towards the end, John and Betsey Ennis treated me to some great seats at the Wings Over Houston Airshow where we got to kick back and enjoy!
Summer 2008
On the golfing front, spent the entire winter working on strength conditioning and happy to now be able to include the 1 & 2 irons in the bag. Played in a 100 hole golf tournament fund raiser. Aside from the golf, happened up some interesting moments. Also, accomplished what all I've always been wanting to do and that is play a 54 hole round, carrying my bag, in the Houston heat. Did it twice!!!
Filled up my 500 shot limit on my Nature Album and looking forward to starting a new Album:
Spending alot of time behind the camera and cobbling together special websites these days... Caught a two piece group called ""Wood 'n Wind"". Steve and Bobbie were very pleasant to chat with and let me attempt a few shots of them doing their thing which included the Kemah Jam. Was able to get a few but coming to terms that it's getting close to time for another camera better able to handle lower light settings.
About the same time my buddy John Ennis, was needing some help filling in for his regular music column writer, Jim Shortt. I offered to hang out and take pictures and thus started a stint working for The SCENE Magazine. I could never possibly fill in Jim's shoes but getting a chance to walk along the trail he traveled covering area music, events & hurricanes was most interesting.
Spring Fever 2008 arrived in full vengence this year and things are in a jumble!
Took a bunch of pictures and recorded some audio at the 2008 Oleander Event. What a hoot that was!

Here are a few pictures of our annual Team America Rocketry Challenge trials that we host each year at the Johnson Space Center. Our part is an annual 5 month campaign of weekend launches. What a crowd!
Also did a FIVE EVENT gathering held at Space Center Houston. The events included Space Day, Yuri's Night, the David Beverly Inagural Memorial Ride, the Outlaw Music Festival, and the First Annual Bay Area Bikers Rally. What a hoot!
Autumn 2007
Funny how one things leads to another. Went to grab a few photos at a Dreamsicle show and wandered into a HartFest Benefit Kickoff being held to get things rolling for HartFest. The community of people at these two events were amongst the most pleasant of friendly folks I've come across.
Because of storms in the Gulf of Mexico, the annual Ballunar Event was postponed into November. This was much more enjoyable than the previous years when we held the event in August.
Summer 2008 - What a run... It was about this time when I discovered Googlepages for hosting simple websites, initially as part of the 30th reunion site for the Putnam City West Class of 1977.
Things were going pretty good also on the audio recording scene which included work with three area bands, The Taildraggers, The Cow Blues-Brothers, an a really fun group calling themselves "Andy and the Dreamsicles". Not only did I get a chance to capture some really good audio, I also got to work on my first Myspace website. So much for living a sheltered life...
Links of stuff that's kept me out of trouble:
