My Planning Bio

I know many people skip over the "About Us" section anyway, so here is a short summary: We were engaged on April 15, 2007, and it was absolutely amazing! I always wanted to swim with dolphins, so FI surprised me with a dolphin swim during a trip to Florida. While I was distracted by the dolphin, FI got took out the ring and got down on one knee. It was perfect!

**Unsure if I was even going to make a bio, I did not keep track of where my

pictures came from. Let me know if I must credit you!**

Colors

Reception and Ceremony Venue

Searles Castle at Windham. It is so beautiful at night.

The Inside of the tent where the reception will be

This is what I would like the aisle to look like..

Since the ceremony will be at 6:30, this would also be awesome, but probably too expensive.

Flowers

My bouquet will be just like these two....

And my bridesmaids will have bouquets just like this except with hot pink roses and some green berries like in the second photo.

Cakes

Both of thse cakes are great. I think I want the top one, but with green flowers like in the second picture.

I like this last cake as well, but I'd like to add some pink. Maybe flowers?

Reception Decor

If we can afford it, I would love to have linens like these!

I would love to have lighting like this, well a bit more subtle, and this is searles in the picture!

This is the look I'd like for the sweetheart table.

On half of the tables we will have 3 cylinder vases of different sizes. They will be filled with submerged fruit and a floating candle on top. We are thinking green apples, limes, and cranberries for the vases. It will look something like this picture...

The other half of the centerpieces will look like this..

Apparently the centerpiece above could cost about 400 a piece, therefore it will look like that, but more like this size..

Hair

I am decided to wear my hair up because it will probably be very hot, and my hair doesn't hold curls for long. But if I do wear it down, I'd like it just like Mrs.DonD.

Accessories

My Rings!

The Bracelet and Earrings I love!

After months of looking, I finally found these beauties on ebay!!

This second pair I ordered in Ivory for the ceremony.

I ordered my veil from obridal.com. It will look something like this, with a bit of a thinner ribbon.

Dresses

My Dress! Marisa 737. These are the only pics I can find of it...

I am going to add an ivory ribbon and a brooch.

Finally... pics of me in my dress. Not the best pics, but you get the idea.

Ignore my goofy face :)

MY DRESS IS IN!!!!

We decided on bridesmaid dresses.

3 of my girls will be wearing this Jim Hjelm Dress. It will be All chocolate brown, with a bright pink sash.

My 12 year-old sister, will be wearing this dress in the same exact colors as the other bridesmaids. It is a bit more age appropriate without being too childish.

I'd like to get these pearl and ribbon necklaces for them as well!

The most adorable flower girl dress in the world! I fell in love with this dress, but it was then discontinued. We were able to find one in a local bridal store and bought it! It is a few sizes big for FI sister (our flower girl) but lets hope it wont be too small next summer!

So we added a flower girl, but can't find this dress anymore. I have come to accept that they will look just as cute in 2 different dresses. There is a 4 yr. age diff. between them so it won't look bad. This is the dress our older bridesmaid will wear.

 Some DIY

My DIY pomanders came out much larger, and much more awesome than expected. I made 10 using 6" foam balls. However, they are probably about 10" in diameter now.

This is our photo card box. We made it a looong time ago, but have been waiting for our engagement photos to add to the frames.
