Welcome to the Dance Club of Albert Einstein College of Medicine
The mission of
the Einstein Dance Club (EDC) is to make social dance accessible to members of
the Einstein community. EDC offers dance classes (Standard (Waltz, Tango,
Quickstep), Latin (Rumba, Jive, Cha-Cha-Cha, Samba), Salsa, Samba Gafiera,
Argentine Tango, and Tap dance) and social dance events, which provide an
excellent opportunity for interaction between all members of the community and
a means of escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We organize weekly classes, practice sessions, and frequent workshops in
a relaxed, friendly environment. Our instructors are experienced
dancers from the College or professionals from NYC. The offered schedule and a variety of dances of different styles make it easier to find a convenient time and perfect dance for everybody from Einstein. All AECOM students, postdocs, faculty, and staff are welcome to our classes. A dance partner or previous experience is NOT required for any class.
