What is happening in our class during the 2nd quarter?
Math: Students will be working with place value, comparing and ordering numbers, problem solving skills, and graphing this quarter.
Reading: Students will be learning about to conduct research during the quarter. They will also learn how to locate information they may need.
Writing: Students will learn to go through the writing process on their own this quarter and how to really focus in on a small moment in time.
Science: This quarter students will learn about rocks and minerals. This will help students learn about the earth and the different types of minerals found.
Social Studies: Students will be learning about North Carolina. They will begin to learn about the first settlers in NC and the land of NC.
