Hello! I am Mrs. Welch. This is my fifth year teaching fourth grade. I taught fourth grade for 3 years at Hilburn Drive Elementary and this is my second year here at Sycamore Creek! I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and again in 2005 with a Master of Arts in Reading Education. I am originally from Jamestown, NC and moved to Raleigh in the summer of 2005. I have a 5-year old black lab boxer mix named Bayden who is loving and very playful. Football is my absolute favorite sport and I watch it all the time! I also love to watch movies, take my dog for walks, go to the beach, and just relax and read. I also enjoy spending time with my family and with my husband, Ethan.
