Study Software- Open Source
- The SWORD Project - A software and digital library for open source bible study application development. Many applications based on this project. MY preference is Xiphos. Links to other applications can be found on The SWORD Project website.
- openBibleViewer - an open source bible study program thats available for Windows, Linux, MacOS X and FreeBSD.
- CCEL Desktop - A nice frontend for accessing the CCEL resources.

Miscellaneous SitesFood- Angel Food Ministries - This ministry sells boxes of food for $30. Enough to feed a family of 4 for a week. The cost is about half what you'd spend in a grocery store to buy the same things. Not a bad deal.
Music- Dante Bucci - Awesome. Listen to him play Fanfare on a Hang. Very nice.
- Jake Shimabukuro - Amazing ukulele music. (Yes, thats right, amazing ukulele music!)

Fonts- Free Fonts for Everyday Use
- DejaVu Fonts - The DejaVu fonts are a font family based on the Vera Fonts release 1.10. Its purpose is to provide a wider range of characters while maintaining the original look and feel through the process of collaborative development.
- Liberation Fonts - The Liberation Fonts are intended to be replacements for the three most commonly used fonts on Microsoft systems: Times New Roman, Arial, and Courier New.
- Computer Modern Unicode - Their main purpose is to create free good quality fonts for use in X applications supporting many languages.
- Libertine Open Fonts Project - A versatile font family designed to give you an alternative to fonts like Times New Roman.
- Junicode - A unicode font for medievalists.
- Tiresias - Nice readable fonts for a variety of uses.
- SIL has many different fonts for many different languages. Gentium is especially nice.
- Great Sources of Free Fonts
- Manfred Klein Fonteria - Free for private and charity use. Free for commercial use too. But if there is any profit, he requests that a donation be made to an organization such as Doctors Without Borders. I like using his Frankly Spoken Two font as an alternative to Impact.
- Dieter Steffmann - Some nice free fonts here. I especialy like his American Text old english style font. He has some other nice Old English style fonts too, such as Cloister Black and Olde English. And he has one called Pilsen Plakat which is similar to Impact.
- KingThings - Some very nice free calligraphy and decorative fonts here.
- freefont.de - One new free font every month.

SoftwareThere
are plenty of other sites out there with long lists of software to do
various things, so I won't mention very much here. I'll just list a few
things that I like.
- ie7-js - Include in your webpages to make IE behave better.
- Scribus
- An open source page layout program. Very nice. I've used it to make a
number of things already. It works on Windows, Linux, and Mac.
- Inkscape
- A vector graphics editing program similar to Adobe Illustrator but
open source and cross platform. It even allows you to edit PDF files
now. Works on Windows, Linux, and Mac.
- jedit - A very nice text editor. Its one of only about 4 or 5 Java applications that I actually like.
- xephem - A very cool astronomy program. Not "pretty" but it has tons of features. I love it. :)
- pyephem - A python ephemeris library based on the routines that XEphem uses. Very cool.
