Program Requirements Check Lists Every student at RCC is assigned a program of study and a catalog year. This designation rarely changes unless (1) You officially change your major (2) You fail to enroll or make progress for a year, or (3) You do not complete a program of study within a specified period of time—at which point you may be transitioned to the current catalog.
Remember as a student, YOU are responsible for planning your academic career. If you are not well-informed about your designated catalog of record and major, check with the Registrar's Office. CAUTION: A wise student will carefully coordinate a transfer by reading the catalog of the institution he or she is planning to attend and speaking to advisors both here at at the transfer institution. Most college catalogs have language to this effect: "The maximum transfer credit hours accepted from a two-year institution ranges from 60-64 semester hours."
