The Best Day Trading Book. Humble Trade Days. The Best Day Trading Book
Day 298 - Dynamite Magazine If you were between the ages of 10 and 16 in 1982, you know all about what's in this combined photo (shot from two angles and rejoined in the middle cuz the ones furthest out were fuzzy). sigh As for the rest of you... Scholastic Books, that publisher now best known for the "Goosebumps" and "Captain Underpants" titles, used to publish a magazine for "The 80's Kid" called Dynamite which contained fluffy stories about popular media icons, magic, horses, monsters, and other boneless matter. Graduates of this magazine (some would say age 13, others prop it up to driving age) got a different magazine, Bananas, which also liked media icons but traded horses and monsters for "How To Act Like A Beast" (or as I saw it, How To Prepare For Frat Life Once You Graduate). Time for the tour... - - - a) Ricky Schroeder in 'Silver Spoons' (now known as Rick), Valerie Bertinelli circa 'One Day At A Time' (pre-Eddie VH and and Jenny Craig), The Greatest American Hero meets the first Christopher Reeve Superman, Lou Ferigno as TV's Incredible Hulk (how he turned into Bill Bixby is beyond me). b) Greg Evigan as BJ McKay (and his best friend Bear...), the original 'Battlestar Galactica' cast (forget all recent imitations), 'The Dukes Of Hazzard' (a popular subject), Shawn Cassidy (as a movie actor instead of a singer or Hardy Boy on teevee). c) John Travolta as Vinnie Barbarino (what ever happened to that guy?), 'Mork & Mindy' (Robin Williams was another popular subject, they just left out the real-life messes), Gil Gerrard as 'Buck Rogers', Gilda Radner circa 'SNL' fame (whom I still miss). d) E.T. (another popular subject), Sylvester Stallone in 'Rocky III', Ponch & Jon from 'CHiPs' (Erik Estrada was a popular subject), 'Joanie Loves Chachi' (Scott Baio showed up every 6 months, I swear). e) 'The Love Boat' cast, 'Star Wars' [episodes 4-6] cast (also popular), Gary Coleman (too popular, and none of the other cast from 'Diff'rent Strokes' ever showed up on the cover), Rick Springfield (renaissance man). f) 'Square Pegs' cast (greatest.show.ever.), Blair and Tootie (Lisa Whelchel and Kim Fields) in separate covers from 'The Facts Of Life' (WHERE THE HELL IS NATALIE?!?!), David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight (accept no imitations), Michael Jackson circa "Thriller" album (remember when he was a black man with a nose?). g) 'That's Incredible' cast, comic relief -- "The Beatles verses The Bee Gees: Who's The Best?", Kristy McNichol and Leif Garrett (if you don't understand, you're too young), Lee Majors in 'The Fall Guy'. h) Michael J. Fox in 'Family Ties' (his given middle name is Andrew... he took "J" because he thought "Michael A. Fox" sounded a little full-of-one's-self), Mister T (don't ask), Harrison Ford from the second 'Indiana Jones' movie (he's back? wtf?), Emmanuel Lewis as 'Webster'. - - - This is about half of my collection. I didn't figure you wanted to see Muppets, Sam Vivano and Jared Lee (bummer!) drawings, the cast of 'Mr. Merlin', etcetera. Okay, maybe you did. Not tonight. The Fanfic Notebooks
Every single book! I've been asked a couple of times if this fanfic series will be readable in text on the internet... and the answer is no. I write for myself and my sister... sometimes my friends... If you want to read it you'll have to find me in person and ask me to let you barrow it…. Which isn’t really good for me seeing that since I’m still writing it, I’ll have to make reference to the older volumes.. and I won’t be able to do that if you have it… On the other hand I would REALLY like another person’s point of view of this story and where it’s going…. Since my sister is pretty much giving me NOOOO feedback!
