[Update - Oct. 2009] : I am doing my MSc. in Computer Science (by research) at University of York (UK). I will no longer update this website and will be moving contents of this site to my new website at http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~abhishek/.

I am a undergraduate student enrolled to Bachelor of Computer Engineering at Institute of Engineering [IOE] - Pulchowk Campus, Nepal. My research interests are in the field of Computer Vision, Image Processing & Pattern Matching, Advanced Mathematics (quite interested in Linear Algebra and Wavelets these days). This site is the place where I dump all my ideas, information about my projects and about the stuff that I do when I don't do anything :)

  • We grabbed second prize in OSCN-2009 Aug. 09, 2009

We grabbed the first prize in the grand finale of OSCN-2009 held on Aug. 08, 2009 for our project RTFTR. Open Source was the buzz word there and we all were quite flattered by the royal treatment given to all the participants. Some of the photos of the event are available here.
  • My Flickr Photostream- June 26, 2008

I have been using picasaweb@google for quite a long time (ignoring flickr). It was quite difficult to upload and organize photographs in picasaweb. My friends flickr page inspired me to open a flickr account. I have uploaded some LOCUS 07/08 photos and will upload my digital photo archives in coming months (because of 100MB limit/month). I was inspired to do some photography after visiting the flickr's explore page. Expect some cool photographs in my photostream in near future :)
