We take pride and pleasure in formally inviting you to our 2nd annual Padyakan sa Fresno 2009 (Pedaling in Fresno ) on April 4 at 7am at Selma M. Layne Park. Again, the Filipino-American Cycling Team (FACT) in cooperation with Fresno Cycling Club (FCC) feels greatly honored to host this event, which is aimed at bolstering our commitment toward reinvigorating our camaraderie and further bond our friendships as well as encouraging new adherents to this sport. We shall be truly privileged in having you over here to ride with us and feast together during lunchtime. The route will take us to the scenic foothills of the Sierras. The first section of the course will lead us to where the AMGEN tour (stage 4) passed through (before making a turn heading to the sprint finish in Clovis ). This route is generally flat until we reach the eastern side in the outskirts of Fresno . This is also a stretch of mostly undulating terrain and forms the first part of Climb to Kaiser. There are NO major climbs. The rest of the way is just rolling hills and mostly downhill. Our suggested pace is social or moderate. We will wait for slow riders. None shall be left behind!
