Up to the west-end to star in a video feature .... hmm not really, a promo for the company I do alot of work for.... but the chance to snap a few pics with the Nettar. News for anyone even remotely interested in my battle with the Yashica Mat ... I've realised how totally dumb i've been whilst flocking the insides against flare. Sticking the shutter on B and looking through the taking lens it's no wonder the photos are awful - it's disgustingly grimy and smeared. It seems this is a very common problem, so it's off to ebay again to get myself a spanner wrench (I don't trust myself with the usual yogic positioning of my hands and two screwdrivers on this camera) to open up the lenses for a good old clean.... I'm serioulsy hoping this will do the job. This is a case of reading too much on the web about problems and not using your own brain to think straight about it.... Meanwhile the old Nettar is reliable as ever... Zeiss Ikon Nettar 518/16 | Novar- Anastigmat 75/4.5 | Kodak Tmax-400 | Rodinal 1+50
