Adelheid Holl

I am a tenured Research Fellow at the Spanish National Research Council (Institute of Public Goods and Policies) in Madrid. I was previously Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow at the Fundación de Estudios de Economía Aplicada (FEDEA, Madrid). Before that, I worked as Lecturer in Urban and Regional Economics in the Department of Town and Regional Planning at the University of Sheffield, UK.

My research is primarily at the intersection of applied micro-economic analysis and economic geography and concentrates on the performance, location and spatial organisation of firms in the following fields:

      - R&D, innovation, and technology adoption in geographic space

      - Transport infrastructure and accessibility in the spatial economy

News of Interest:

I welcome enquiries from potential master or doctoral students with research interests related to the above mentioned topics.
