About MeName: Noora, but you can also call me Adelate. Really. It's okay. :) That's a picture of me right there on the lower right. :)
Studies: Library and information sciences in Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. Brothers or sisters: One sister, called Niina. She just turned 21 last September. Parents: Mom and dad, their names (respectively) Varpu and Heikki. They're divorced, but get along. Favorite food: Pasta, different kinds of salads. Hobbies: Watching TV, different sorts of computer stuff, movies, books, writing. I'm also on LiveJournal a lot (which I suppose falls under the "computer stuff" category, but I wanted to mention it separately).
Favorite color: Pink, orange, red. Loves most: Domesticity. [laughs] No, really. And my family, my friends and my cat Stella. (Picture on the left. :)) And recently? Driving! Hates most: Cynicism, homophobia (all kinds of discrimination, actually, especially discrimination that's rooted in ignorance, which is most of it). Favorite TV show: I have to go with an alphabetical list because I have too damn many shows that I love!
Favorite movie: Playing by Heart is my favorite, but I love so many more movies, too. I'm especially a sucker for fun, light movies - romantic comedies and such.
Favorite actress: Probably Angelina Jolie. Favorite song: There's no way to decide on my favorite song, but here are a few:
Favorite artist(s): Oh my god, I can't list everything I love here. I love a lot of music, and like almost all sorts except for the heaviest metal and the teeniest techno. Other than that, I will listen to pretty much anything from *NSYNC to Glenn Miller and Michael Bublé and from Backstreet Boys (picture above :)) to AC/DC. Favorite website: LiveJournal.com. This is where my friends are, man. Favorite book: Travis Hugh Culley's The Immortal Class, J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, all the Harry Potter books, anything by Robin Hobb, Helen Fielding's Bridget Jones's Diary. Last book read: Lauren Weisberger: The Devil Wears Prada Currently in CD player: I believe it's Never Gone by the Backstreet Boys, The War of Women by Joe Firstman and Shotgun by Tony Lucca. Languages spoken: Finnish (mother tongue), English (fluent), Swedish (so and so). I've also taken two courses of French, but... I remember about two words of the whole thing, and currently I'm taking Spanish. :)
