Diagnostic Imaging DS3 2803
NAIT's Dean of the School of Health Sciences Ellen Hughes talked about the impact the $4.3 million from the province is having on the diagnostic imaging programs. For example: The new equipment allowed NAIT to increase the number of students in all of its Diagnostic Imaging programs: Medical Sonography increased by 50% (up 10 students), Medical Radiologic increased by 31% (up 11 students), Combined Lab X-ray by 30%. (up 9 students), and an annual increase of MRI students. Instead of the former every other year intake, it is now annually, which is a 100% increase.
