How I lit Study in Glass III. It's easier than trying to explain, really. As recommended by Ben Zvan, I've been toying with lights and glass. The main light with the softbox in the foreground is set at minimum power and gives the nice big soft reflection on the champagne bottle. The softbox in the background is set at half power, and lightens up the white background wall and adds a bit of ambient light to the far side of the piece. The bare light (with a honeycomb, but you can't see that from this angle) bounced off the reflector is set at full power, and gives the point highlights in the glasses as well as mitigates some of the fuzziness in the glasses caused by the main softbox. The Biology Degree is an Associate of Science in Biology and Biology Education from Coastal Carolina Community College and just makes the shot special. I'm currently working on my Bachelor's at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
