Dr. Adam Webb is a versatile performer and teacher.  He currently teaches 3-12 vocal music at Ponca Public Schools in Ponca, NE, where he teaches elementary general music, Junior High Choir and High School Choir.  He also directs the show choir and One Act, as well as musicals and other concerts. Prior to his public education experience, Dr. Webb taught Applied Voice and music classes in higher education for ten years.

He has performed more than a dozen operatic roles including Nanki-Poo in The Mikado, Gastone in La Traviata, Elder Gleaton in Susannah and Tenor in the world premier of Robert Moran's Bats in the Belfry.  His oratorio repertoire includes Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Vespere Solennes, Bach's Magnificat, and others.  Adam also enjoys performing musical theater, such as Jaimie in The Last Five Years, and is always searching for new works to perform.   

Dr. Webb served as music director for numerous musicals, and was awarded “Best Music Director” by the Sioux City Community Theatre for his work with Spamalot.  Dr. Webb was also music director for South Sioux City High School's production of Fiddler on the Roof and the Betty Ling Tsang Fine Arts Series' productions of Cats and Oklahoma! at Morningside College.  

While teaching at Mississippi State University, Dr. Webb assisted with directing Into the Woods, and Amahl and the Night Visitors with the music department, and was the musical director for All Shook Up and The Pirates of Penzance with Theater MSU.  He was also the Choir Director at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Starkville, MS.  

Adam holds a B.M. from Morningside College, and M.A. and D.M.A. degrees from the University of Iowa. Adam has held full-time positions at Wayne State College and Mississippi State University as Assistant Professor of voice, and adjunct teaching positions at Morningside College in Sioux City, IA, Wartburg College in Waverly, IA, Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, IA, and Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA.
