Honors- (2008-2009) school year: Member of The University of Massachusetts Chapter- Golden Key International Honour Society-

School Year (2008-2009)- I am a Staff Writer/ Crime Reporter for The Daily Collegian at U-Mass Amherst. My duties include covering all the crime on and around campus, meeting with Deputy Chief Patrick Archbald of the UMass Police Department weekly to go over the police log of arrests and to discuss the cases that are most interesting- assaults, thefts, attempted murder, etc. I write at least two articles a week, in addition to the crime log. I have office hours in the newsroom two hours a week. Here is a link to all of my articles- During the spring semester I am working as a Story/Video/Blog Editor for the online news magazine The Amherst Wire. Creating multimedia packages and editing.
June 2008-August 2008- I am working/interning for the think tank "Political Research Associates," which is based in Boston, MA. We have our own quarterly magazine titled, "The Public Eye," which just released it's summer edition. I am the Public Relations/Editorial Assistant, promoting three specific articles from the summer publication, and doing all different aspects of outreach (Radio, Website, Ally). I successfully booked three radio interviews for two of the authors who appeared in the summer publication.
