Hammock heroics, setup #2
This time the hammock rope was ~90 feet long, over rushing water. Getting in was challenging but not the hardest ever, regardless when slack the hammock was about 8 or 9 feet overhead. 2 new/fun activities: 1) adding tension to a rope you can only reach by jumping and well this isn't new: 2) getting into a hammock you can only reach by jumping, wooo! The "static" line isn't very elastic but the system does have some stretch to it. So you don't really bounce up and down, but if D.S. disemhammocked in this photo, it would spring up away from him. This setup had lower tension than some others.
Doggie totem pole
Riding to the dog park. We have a dog hammock in the back seat to keep our upholstery from being too hair-covered. During the summer months, Bazino prefers to ride in the seat wells underneath the hammock, out of the sun. Yuki is happy with this approach, too. :)
