Floating Pool

Here we see a K and K tech measuring the space and centering the drain pots. These pots will hold the relief valve that will allow the clean ground water to be released into the pool instead of pushing up under the liner and floating it. No water lines are used, instead a hard plastic tube about 16" is wrapped in amesh wire and attached to the bottom. this acts as a filter to ensure the ground water is super clean before it enters the pool. As the pressure under ground rises with the water table it pushes open a spring loaded static valve releasing the pressure(water) into the pool! When enough water is released the spring snaps shut, resealing the pool!

Amboy is the next dot on the map, at the foot of those mountains on the other side of the Mojave Desert. Saw maybe 2-3 cars the whole time. I trusted the core mechanicals of the moto pretty good by this point, but I was inexplicably paranoid about a carb float valve leaking and dumping my fuel without me knowing it, and had to keep compulsively feeling for gas leaks. My plan for Death Valley next week is to stick the carb bowl overflow hoses into my shoe, so I'll know the moment there's a fuel dump and can rest easy.
