Ana Carolina Lorena is graduated (2001) and Doctor (2006) in Computer Science, by "Universidade de São Paulo", São Carlos. She is currently Professor at "Universidade Federal do ABC". 

Her reseach interests include: artificial intelligence, machine learning, bioinformatics and hybrid intelligent systems.
