Free the Children and Me to We have been started by Craig and and Marc Kielburger. Free the Children focuses on involving youth in the global movement towards human rights. It posts an article once a day about the world's situation. Me to We is a company that is concerned more by the people who buy and make their products than money. They also create leadership and have volunteer trips for youth. However the two organisations blend in many ways.

GUA Africa is a new organisation created by a rapper and past child soldier named Emmanuel Jal. It sponsors children and builds schools, among other things.
 
 
Human Rights Watch is one of the leading organisations in the world when it comes information about various conflicts in the world.
 
 
Invisible Children is an organisation that works to help all of Uganda with dynamic  fundraisers, pressuring governments to stop the problem in Uganda and helping ordinary people make a difference and raise a voice.

Oxfam International is a large organisations that aims to eradicate poverty in the world by supporting education and healthcare in poor countries. It also tries to bring justice and human rights by speaking out about injustices and campaigns. It has campaigns that focus on better trade, agriculture, education, healthcare as well as a control of arms and of climate change. See it on facebook, myspace and youtube.

 Ten Thousand Villages is a store that markets fair trade products (trade that provides with workers that enable them to support their family and work in a safe environment) to us North Americans so that we can make responsible choices when we buy various items. They sell chocolate, jewelry, body care products, paper, decoration, plates and ustensils, music and musical instruments, as well as many works of art.
 
Wells of Hope is an organization started by a high school teacher - that now works at Dennis Morris - to help individuals, mostly in Guatemala, but also Haiti and other poor countries nearby. It is also a Christian Organization. They started out building wells, but also build schools and give healthcare. Their Warehouse of Hope is a great way to recycle for a good cause by donating used items rather than money! Changing water into wine and water bottle sales are among their fundraising programs. In many schools, they collect pennies and have children see how it add up.
 
World Vision is a well known organization that is christian-based. It does many widely advertised and creative fundraisers, and is mostly concerned about poverty around the world.
