Pheasant Quest: Give the pheasants to the horkval Queen for 200 gold each. There are a total of 4 pheasants, making for an easy 800 gold.

Larvae Quest: Collect the honeydew from the caverns, give it to the horkval larvae and then take the larvae and give it to Balai for 1000 gold and an aggressive guard attacking you.

Update: I'm not sure if they fixed this, but every once in a while, the horkval would be created from the larvae and already be dead. This happened on a few other quests, but this is the one I noticed it most on. Once I got lucky and Taug spawned dead for me *grin* quite a bit of essence to my deity then.

Stag Quest: Say 'quest' to Serach, wear the pendant he gives you and kill the King Stag. Give the Stag back to Serach for 500 gold.

Flask Quest: Collect the flask from the badger's burrow and give to the grook hunter for 500 gold.

Gem Quest: You can either kill Oorangu for the gem for give the corpse of balai to him. Even though you may get experience from giving the corpse, I always do the former, because as has already been stated, you can get 1000 gold quite frequently from him if you keep him alive, and his respawn time is longer than that of the larvae. 

Next you give the gem to the general.. and... that's basically it. he gives you a little XP and you go about your business. nothing more to this one.
