Over the years we have recieved permission to train in 15 to 20 different fields and ponds. Once we are comfortable with a dog performing its basic obedience and retrieving drills we start to exspose them to lots different places. This helps them to be ready to retrieve wherever you decide to hunt. The fields range from 5 acres to over 100 acres. We plant 15 acres of millet and milo every spring for our dove field so as it matures we have thicker and thicker cover to train in. Some of our fields are 100 acre hay pastures. Some only get cut once a year so they are really thick. The dogs are transported from our facility to the field in a 10 hole dog trailer. We also have flat bottom boats, launchers, platforms, pigeons and decoys spread all over to help make your dog's transition to the hunting grounds as smooth as possible. We will discuss the specifics of your dog's training and try to customize his training scenerios as close to your hunting situation as possible.
