Women Leaders in Higher Education

Welcome!

I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website and to learn about the many opportunities available to women in higher education. The organization is committed to the continuous learning, advancement and support of all women interested in being leaders in our region.

The NYC/LI would like every campus in its region to have an Institutional Representative (IR). The campus IR should let women on their campuses know about the existence of the NYC/LI chapter and be able to describe our mission and goals. The campus IR will distribute any mailings to the individuals on their campus. To be added to the NYC/LI mailing list or to update your address please e-mail….(name). We generally recruit people via word of mouth and recommendation.

This chapter gives us the opportunity to collaborate on issues of mutual concern to women. A select and consenting group of women make up our planning committee and we generally meet via phone once or twice a month to discuss how to build, develop, and re-shape our chapter.
