For
more than 2 decades, I worked in the vibrant corporate world. Several years ago, a chronic eye condition left me diagnosed as going blind and in need of cornea transplants. That led me off
the corporate ladder, and onto the path in search of alternative healing for
myself. Destiny intervened however, guiding
me to massage school, which brought out the healer in me instead. Amazingly
late in 2009, I fully recovered from my eye condition. I have
come to realize that this trial was in fact the calling for me to help others,
and assist them in discovering that we all have the ability to be healers
within ourselves!
I have a large multi-ethnic practice, providing
each person I see with my sincerest gift of touch. I proudly pour my exuding passion, intuition
and positive energy into my work. I like to engage my clients' positive
energy in mind, body, and spirit during each session, which is most effective in
deep tissue, acupressure, trigger point and craniosacral work. In one year, I professionally work on more than 1000 clients. I enjoy great
satisfaction helping my clients with my healing touch ~ the ACellent Gift
of Touch.
I am a graduate of
CenterPoint Massage and Shiatsu Therapy School & Clinic in Minnesota. I received
my Diploma in Therapeutic Massage in August 2009, with 720 hours of training
and 78 hours of outreach & clinical work. I received my Diploma in the East
West Therapeutic Bodywork Program in December 2010, with a consolidation of
1395 hours of training and 78 hours of outreach & clinical work. I
enjoy integrating various massage techniques, Shiatsu, and Asian bodywork into effective personalized treatment plans in my
private practice.
I am professionally licensed, current, and fully insured under AMTA. As a
certified massage therapist, I am fully-trained in a wide range of modalities
to bring you a complete therapeutic/rehabilitative experience through my
natural healing touch. My specialty is
in treating neck/shoulder, upper and low back pains, which I do by tapping into my extensive
knowledge of the human body, and my very expandable integrated East/West
toolbox.
In
2009, I completed 4 CE hours in Elbow Work in August, 14 CE hours specialized
training in Pregnancy Massage in November, 45 CE hours in Nutrition for
Health and 45 CE hours in Lymph Drainage Massage in December.
In 2010, I completed 13 CE hours in Assessment & Treatment of Shoulder Pain
with Dr. Ben Benjamin, in March. He is a pioneer and renowned leader in
Sports Medicine & Education for 4 decades. I also attended an 8 hour
workshop on Infant and Pediatric Massage with Tina Allen in April. She is
an internationally respected educator, author and expert in the field of infant
and pediatric massage therapy, as well as the founder of the Liddle Kidz
Foundation. In addition I have completed a 4 CE hour workshop in
Traditional Barefoot Shiatsu in October, and 45 CE hours of training in
Craniosacral Techniques in November. As you can probably tell, I have a thirst for the knowledge of anything
I can use to help my clients!
I have received many referrals from reputable chiropractors, acupuncturists and
physical therapists, providing these professionals and their patients with the
benefit of my wealth of experience dealing with MVA injuries, as well as all
types of medical conditions that require my medical, rehabilitative or specific
bodywork therapy. I especially enjoy working with special populations
like geriatric, infants, pre and post natal clients. In addition,
since 2008, I continue to volunteer 8 to 10 hours a month at Pathways, a health
crisis center, providing support for people from all walks of life, who
are challenged with chronic diseases and life-threatening illnesses.
It is my ongoing passion to help heal the world and make it
a better place, one day at a time. I am a sponge for continued education; the research
and science of new discoveries. I believe
knowledge is power - the healer in you can make the informed decision to improve and change
the quality of your own life. With my integrative East/West training, I am
often sought with regards to alternative, preventative medicine. I am grateful for modern inventions and the
surgeries that got my vision fully restored. I am however, still inclined to believe
that more often than not, Western medication tend to mar the symptoms but is not
the cure - one has to heal holistically in mind, body and spirit!
In the course of my continued volunteer work with people
with chronic and life-threatening illnesses, I am privileged with interacting and
learning from those who had their wake up calls - survivors who lived to share
and tell their real life stories of healing. I am empowered to share my acquired knowledge
and information with you and your loved ones! Send me an email introducing
yourself and your problem; let me know who referred you.
I look forward to sharing my gift of touch with you, as well imparting the
importance of incorporating self care, health and wellness into your life. I want to help you to counter the daily
stress of balancing family with work, while maintaining an enriched life style
through your own mind, body, and spirit connection! Please

Thank you for your kind referrals and continued support.
