Unusual coach of the week. There can't nowadays be that many operational Alexander TC bodied coaches still earning their keep. B210 FFS is currently with us for MoT preparation and is seen here on a somewhat circuitous run back from out garage to the storage compound for a degree of brake bedding prior to the test booked for Monday. Although not everyone's idea of what a coach should look like, there's no doubting the robust construction... far superior to Plaxton's and Duple's of the same era. Extensive use of heavy gauge aluminium in the construction of the body has kept corrosion at bay even to this day. Maybe it also accounts for why so few have survived as they'd be very popular with breakers! Jamie was silly and forgot her tennis shoes, or any other decent pair of shoes to walk around all day in. Flip flops would be fine... if it weren't 50 degrees outside!!
