Green olives marinated with a citrus juice, bread sticks of some kind, and almonds salted with... something light (I cannot remember). There is something magical about setting the table at Thanksgiving. Sophie helped and we carefully placed silverware and glasses on brand new table cloths and folded napkins while talking about what she thought was the best part about that day - - the chocolate souffles her mom made topped the list.
