Meal at my parents' home, or alternately, Why I am the way that I am

For lunch at my parents' house, we had a pasta dish with italian sausage, tomatoes, eggplant, basil, feta cheese, in a homemade sauce. The tomatoes, eggplant, and basil were grown in Dad's garden. We also had fruit salad with at least 5 fruits prepared by Mom. All served on Mickey Mouse placemats. The youngest child in our family is 27. And while I was taking this picture, Dad stopped me midway to position a tomato directly on top so that the pasta looked better. This directs us to several big personality characteristics shared in varying degrees by other members of the family: 1- I am big time food snob. 2- At 33, I am both a painfully responsible adult and a big kid. 3- I like to overdo things, and if possible, I like to do things the hardest possible way.

Hidden Mickey in foam

I love to find the unexpected. In addition to all of the obvious Mickey's in the 50's Cafe set, there is a hidden Mickey in the hot coco foam. It's a little hard to see in the pic, but it's definately there. Disney's 50s Cafe #1 - placemat(background) and mug.
