fly aeroplane fly
a hundred and fifty nine I admit I had LOADS of fun shooting for this and putting it all together. I hadn't put in that much work into a selfie for a long time but I think in this case it's fully worth it. Also... I was trying to fold the first aeroplane and I realised I FORGOT how to fold one. So I had to turn to my brother for help. Embarrassing moment. This was actually inspired by the phrase "???" (fly aeroplane). I have a friend who uses it alot, but I've never heard the phrase until I heard her use it. It's supposed to refer to the people who have stood you up on an appointment or a date. Why "fly aeroplane"? I have no idea... I guess you can tell I'm pretty lousy in the Chinese department. Strobist info: Vivatar 285 at strength 1/4, shoot through umbrella, camera right
octagonal star twist
OK, I figured out how to get the points working in the right method. too many creases on this paper, though... it's a little tired. all the points are worn through.
I'll have to refold this with something larger and a little less worn to death. I think it gets the point across, though!
it looks really cool against the light. I almost folded this into a star twist (like my hexagonal one) but I decided against it. the folding methods are quite similar.
