Olga is from a firm contracted by the city to audit our Ryan White grants, so Ricardo and Kevin were pulling out the receipts to prove that yes, we did spend $40 to get medical records for our clients in October 2010 and I was on hold with the IRS for 20 minutes so they would fax over the form that said yes, we had paid our 2010 withholding tax. But she was perfectly sweet about it all. She got a business degree in Latvia before moving here 12 years ago. She considered going to law school, but it was too expensive, so she took the CPA exam instead--at a time when she had two toddlers at home. The kids are now 4 and 6. She's happy with her work.

Founded in 1889 by the Law Society of Upper Canada and became affiliated with York University in 1968. It is the first law school to allow students to graduate with a concentration in a particular area of law, namely International, Litigation or Tax. It is also the first law school to have a combined law and business degree, and a combined law and environmental studies degree. It has the largest law library in Canada.
