Support and Supporters

While ACC is not a terminal illness it's still scary. I, personally, get lost very easy because of it, I have difficulty in classes, and a lot of things go wrong. ACC is something thats not to be taken lightly though a joke every now and then might keep spirits up. When I first found out about my ACC I didnt want to tell anyone I did my best to cope and hide it. But before long I felt like I was living a lie. So I started talking to people about it. Some laughed and called me a liar (which is what I was afraid would happen) Others stood by me, they supported me, and have helped me along the way. If I beat myself up about not being able to do something right or cry because my clumsiness acted up and I broke something...my supporters are the people that calm me down and love me anyway.

Supporting someone with ACC is very important. That knowledge of knowing I have people helping me and caring for me no matter what has helped me to stay out of my depression. It's helped me to want to get the word out more, to support my fellow brothers and sisters with this problem.

I'd like to quickly thank the wonderful people who have backed me up. You guys know who you are.

If anyone with ACC here needs someone to listen thats what I'm here for too...to have someone that understands some of what you are going through is a beautiful thing. So keep supporting. Check out the links page and the blog and ACC network! Both are great sites.

Three supporters that I'd like to spread the word about are Sandie, Caitlyn and Kim. They ALL have their own websites and things that they are doing and you should totally check out what there doing by going to my links and clicking their pages!! They have all shown support to those with ACC and this page in general. Caitlyn was touched by the story, Kim was happy to help spread the word and I'm helping when I can with JDRF. Sandie has a son with ACC and thats what her webpage talks about.

I want to take the time now to say a REAL thank you to everyone who has been to this page, and has shown a great want to support those with ACC and what ACCA is doing. It's really touching my heart to see all that God is doing with this page and the people that have visited it. So keep on supporting. God Bless

*New plan for this page. If ANY of you that are ACCers OR parents of ACCers want to leave an e-mail address with me to add to this page for a section that I'll be calling "CONTACTING THOSE THAT KNOW" Please please e-mail your info or anything else you wanna add. Put the subject "SUPPORT AND SUPPORTERS NEW ADDITION TO PAGE" I'll know what it is and will be able to add your e-mail right away. Thanks so much and I hope many of you want involved in this.*

*If anyone would like to help support and become apart of Team ACCA PLEASE LET ME KNOW! We would love the help and support! God Bless*
I hope this webpage has been some help to anyone with an inquiring mind about this. God Bless
