We're Back!!!!
Arlington Classics Academy Physical Education Department has developed several health and fitness programs to assist in changing the culture of the ACA school community in both the areas of health and fitness. There is a growing health issue in our society known as Childhood Obesity. Childhood Obesity has attack the future health status of our children and researchers are finding similar health risk in adults and children. The technology boom, unsafe neighborhoods and the explosion of fast food restaurants are the leading causes of this problem. In a recent article in the Star Telegram, a study concluded that children need more exercise. The state of our children's health is in danger. The programs listed below will be available during 2008-09 school year. Join in and support our efforts of helping the ACA school community in becoming a HeAlThY & FiT school.
