We offer a wide range of programs for adults ranging from beginning through advanced. 6 Week Programs  This is a family class where parents and children can come and be creative together. This is an on- going, 6-week class and can be joined at any time. Over the 6 weeks, we cover hand-building techniques of pinch, coil, and slab, surface decoration and glazing, plus introduction to the wheel. Aug 2 Call for other Dates Adult Pottery with Dave Wilkerson This is an adult pottery class to explore new visions, dreams, and ideas while working with clay. Basic and intermediate lessons for sculpture, hand building, and wheel activities. Discussions of artistic ideas, glazing techniques, kiln-firing techniques, along with specific areas of interest to the students are addressed. Ages 16 & Up Wednesday, 7:00pm - 9:00pm for 6 weeks $85 + $20 Material & Firing fee Starts Wednesday Feb 1, March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6, July 11, Aug 1 Call for other Dates  Explore hand building as a way of making functional and sculptural ceramic art. Students will learn basic construction processes such a coils, slabs, and molds with a variety of decorative and finishing techniques using low fire and/or high fire clays and glazes. Students will pursue individual projects with the assistance from the instructor. For ages 10 through Adult, Saturday 10:00am - 12 noon $100 for 6 weeks Starts Any Saturday Monthly Classes Fundamentals and Intermediate Wheel Throwing Students will learn, at their own pace, all aspects of wheel throwing. Emphasis will be on fundamental skills and techniques required for beginning enthusiasts. Intermediate students will continue refinement of fundamental skills and techniques. Emphasis is placed on consistency of sets, achievement of the artist's intent and embellishment of pieces. Class availability dependent upon a minimum enrollment of at least three students. Ages 13 and up Saturdays 10:00am - 12noon or 1:00pm to 3:00pm $75 plus $25 materials for 4 weeks Starts Any Saturday  This studio time will be available to students who have participated in other ceramics classes and are looking to work independently while getting help as needed. Each week short demonstrations /exercises and various ceramic skills and techniques are given. Instruction will be geared to the participants' interests and needs.
