The entire training course lasts a total of 35 weeks. The first portion, a 16 week session, will give you the basics of the legal virtual assistant industry and will give you a good basis for providing virtual support to the legal community. The second part of the full course will provide more in-depth course work in the legal fields and areas of support, as well as business management tools. This part is interactive with your fellow Academy members, as you will be given group assignments and will have opportunties to discuss various legal specialties with attorneys and paralegals already engaged in those specialties.
The Certification Exam is conducted in two parts - Part One is administered at the conclusion of the first 16 week session and Part Two at the end of the full course. Successful completion of both parts of the Certification Exam will give you the designation of Certified Legal Virtual Assistant. Certification is entirely optional.
