The Guide uses an adaptation of Old Town's PolyLink3™ variable layer polethylene construction to provide a stable, durable and stiff canoe.  Its sharp entry provides excellent efficiency through the water whilst being more than stable enough for fishing or family outings.  Features include polyethylene decks with grab handles, ash carrying yoke, vinyl gunwales and contoured seats with adjustable folding backrests.  This is an easy paddling and low maintenance craft that should give years of reliable performance.

This is a versatile canoe with a slightly rockered hull that provides excellent manoeuvrability while retaining reasonable tracking ability.  It is one of the few two seat plastic canoes on the market that is small and light enough for solo use.  While still quite stable, paddlers should be aware that it does not possess the same stability levels as the larger Pelican craft.  It is made from RAM-X, a multi-layer plastic material known for its high impact-resistance and ability to regain its initial shape after an impact.  Its plastic moulded bench seats, alloy thwart system and sturdy aluminum gunwales with protective sleeving are low maintenance and should provide for years of reliable service.
