a few weeks ago, my boss approached me and said "i got tickets to send two of my stylists to the TIGI academy in new york for a couple of days of classes. i'd like to send you and angela." of course, brian being the psychic sweetheart he is knew what was going to come out of my mouth next, and so he headed me off with "i'm going to pay for the hotel room. you'll have to share it, but i don't think that would be an issue for you two." and so angela will be picking me up between 5 and 5:30 a.m. we'll rush off to new york (i've never been before), drop the car off at the hotel and register, and then run to the academy. hopefully i'll be able to get some good photos while i'm there. the idea was to give angela and i some more creative material to keep us from getting bored at work, but i'm also hoping that the short change of scenery will be enough to also get me out of the creative rut i've been having with my personal art lately. at the very least i'll have fun slashing away at a mannequin for two days!

This is our first photograph of our new addition to the family. This was taken just after we left M et Mme Auquiert's house in Le Fauga on the 12th February 2011. Her breeders name is 'Fantaisie des Contemplation', way too much for us, so we renamed her Fifi but after a week we realised she wasn't a Fifi and once more she was renamed, now it's Tigi, well she can be a little Tiger from time to time!
