The Logan-Hocking School District covers most of Hocking County, Ohio (322 sq. miles), plus small parts of two neighboring counties. Hocking County (pop. ~29,000) is a scenic wonderland, especially the Hocking Hills region which includes 9 state parks. The city of Logan is the largest city ( pop. ~7500) and the county seat. Logan is known as “The Gateway to Ohio’s Scenic Wonderland”. The Logan-Hocking School District has a high school, a middle school, and five elementary schools. Student enrollment is approximately 4,000 students and rising. The mascot for our Logan High School and Logan-Hocking Middle School is the Chieftain. Our school colors are Purple & White.
