Before you jump to Spend your hard earned\bought credits, you need to understand that you could be a target of 'Scammers' who prey upon new GetRef Users. They would falsely claim a sign up at your program and try to force your credits. You need to be absolutely careful about this. "Do not hesitate to DECLINE those who do not either sign up or go Green at your program". Otherwise they will force the transaction after 72 hrs and you will lose your credits. You only have 72 hrs to decide whether to 'Decline' somebody or not. So Beware and be ALERT !!

Q1: Why am I penalized for 'Decline Transactions' when the supposed referral never signed up? They should be penalized. Not me... :(

A: Because there are guys who do exactly the opposite. Offer credits for some program, enjoy benefits from the sincere ones and then Decline them and retain the credits. To put a check to them, the promoters rating is also reduced by 1 if you decline. Well this has been the topic of debate again an again and especially noobs find it difficult to digest. But this is how it works and every one at GetRef pass through the same passage.
If you are offering high credits for your freebie offers the only way of quickly elevating your Promoter's rating is to throw free credits. Put 10x2 = 20 credits in some useless program and ask people to go ON HOLD. Who ever sees it, catches it and accept them. Then on, you can Decline guys with less than 2 ratings safely without damaging your promoters rating.

Q2: How do I buy referrals for my program with GetRef?

A: You don't straight away 'buy referrals' here at GetRef. You rather Buy or Earn credits at GetRef and then spend those credits by bidding against similar others (like you) to get referrals for your program.

Q3: I referred 2 people to GetRef, so why didn't I receive 4 points for doing so???

A: They must join a program and receive credit for it, then you will receive the 2 credit bonus. This stops,to an extent, people creating fake accounts under themselves to get the bonus. You also earn 10% of the credits that they earn for every program they join.

Q4: I paid money for credits($10 for 40 credits), and was planning on being able to spend them on my freebie site, but then I get this unreasonable message telling me to join a program under someone. I think this is a rip off if they force you to do more stuff after already paying them. I demand that they just let me spend my credits already

A: There is a reason behind imposition of that rule. If every one thinks that they can throw money to buy credits and then can get referrals, who is gonna join programs? That's why everyone has to join at least one program a quarter. To keep the economy stable.

Q7: How to understand the above stats of a user?
A: Simple,

• If you see overall -ve Promoter ratings, S/he is probably a bad Promoter who keeps declining credits.
• If you see overall -ve Earner ratings, S/he is probably a bad Earner who fails to meet the minimum requirements explained in the descreption of the program.
• If you see the overall -ve User Ratings, Then S/he is a Scammer !!
