 This site is an adjunct to the web site and mailing list for the Firefox extension CopyURL Plus, also referred to as CopyURL+. The extension is highly useful to web researchers for clipping content from web pages to an editing program. This site has not been authorized by the CopyURL Plus author, Philip Mateescu, but is instead maintained by CopyURL Plus user Paul E. Merrell, J.D. ("Marbux"). Unfortunately, the last CopyURL+ version was issued in 2005, for Firefox 1.5. Because of a Firefox extension compatibility version number setting in the CopyURL+ installer, the CopyURL+ XPI installer will not work with later versions of Firefox absent a forced install. This site offers, inter alia, a download for an updated version of the CopyURL+ installer for Firefox that should work in Firefox 2 and 3, as well as information for performing your own update if preferred.
