I got tagged (willingly) 25 about me thingies: 1) My favorite tv show ever is Firefly 2) I love to listen to NPR. 3) I really love the homemade kimchi that the Thai store down the street sells, it's nommmmmy. 4) I am getting increasingly interested in taking pictures. I think I may want to do it for a living. 5) I used to collect V.C. Andrews books, but I stopped after like 30 or so and sold them all. 6) I really love seitan jerky. 7) I want to move to Sweden, pretty seriously. 8) I just bought an accordion this week and hopefully I will be able to learn to play it! 9) It took me 5 months to buy Tohru (boy in picture) a pair of shoes but finally *points at Tohru's feet* two pairs came in the mail today! 10) I enjoy going to concerts, the band I have seen the most is Rasputina~ a whopping 5 times, lol. 11) I have two cats, Jello and Houdini. 12) I've been in love with this GREAT guy for 4 years, his name is Dustin. 13) My favorite video game ever is The Sims franchise. Very addictive! 14) The first video game I ever owned was Donkey Kong Country for the SNES. 15) When I was 3 my lip got split open when I fell on a coffee table, I had to have stitches and I still have a small scar if you look really close. 16) I've basically lived around the same place my whole life, only moved about in a radius of 70ish miles. 17) For Christmas I started Dustin a Dunny collection, surprisingly he actually loves them! 18) This semester I'm taking a public speech course that is kicking my ass. So far I've had two speeches that were just -so- terrible! 19) I'm having a hard time thinking of 25 things! 20) I really love the zombie genre of movies, when I was younger there was nothing that inspired greater fear in me! 21) I really love to play Balderdash. 22) I hardly ever get to go out to eat due to my very picky eating habits, nothing is up to par. I only know of 3 restaurants in the area where I can eat. 23) I'm currently addicted to Orange-Pineapple juice..it's soo goood. 24) I'm not a big fan of tofu, I'll eat it on some stuff, but other times I absolutely can't stand it..which isn't good since I'm vegan, lol. 25) One day I'd like to teach yoga. whew! it's over!

Okays, now that I had both the dolls I truly wanted I was worried about buying a core doll. So I spent 10 minutes looking for a UlaD with a nice spread of pink hair. I did not notice the ugly black smudges on her face until I went to acetone her face, but god, they were on the sides, chin and nose. Not only that, her right arm is actually this weird matte finish with black stains on it, with her elbow actually filled with too much plastic so not only I can't bend it, it pops out of her arm socket. And her hand on the same arm couldn't be removed very easily unless I tugged until there were stress marks. I used a blade to clear off the excess plastic and her arm is moving reasonably well, but it's still weird and greyish. I assume I shall not be be putting her stock outfit back on any time soon. And her neck is loose. I'm pretty much upset since I was severely anal and spent around ten minutes scrutinising which Draculaura to take home and picked the one with a reasonable spread of pink in her hair. Also, asides from Ghoulia, Draculaura is my ALL TIME favourite character from the franchise and seeing this doll have so many flaws compared to my other two just pisses me off. Ah well, I'm giving her vintage Licca face paint to continue my whacky "do Monster High dolls with Japanese doll style repaints." But honestly, blah.
