Petal Partners

Petal Partners are based in Sidcup Kent. We cover a large area of London and the home counties including Surrey Sussex and Essex. We are specialists in all areas of wedding floristry. We offer a full range of florist services and have a large amount of very satisfied customers.

We provide floral services for all religious marriages and civil ceremonies.

You will get great value for money at a time when, as most people know who are planning a wedding, budgets are a main concern. We keep all our overheads to a minimum which enables us to pass on a great service with excellent quality at a great price.

Bouquets

Your bouquet is the most important flower arrangement you will ever have.  At your first consultation, which is absolutely free, we focus on helping you choose the best design to compliment your wedding dress. Having chosen the design we will discuss the flowers with you so that we can include those that are special to you.  There are too many possibilities to list but many brides choose roses combined with maybe cala lilies, orchids, bouvardia, freesia or lizzianthus. Some brides like to add foliage while others prefer just flowers.  The addition of Swarovski crystals, diamantes or pearls will make your bouquet sparkle. These are all supplied to us by Sarah May who designs amazing tiaras. This can make a stunning link between your headdress, jewellery and flowers.  We will never rush you to make this choice but once we have designed your bouquet we can then move on to ensure that the rest of your bridal flowers follow the same chosen style and theme.

The bridesmaids usually have a smaller bouquet using some of the chosen bridal flowers. Small bridesmaids can look stunning carrying a single flower tied with an elegant chiffon ribbon to tone with their dress. Another possibility is a handbag with a corsage attached for the older bridesmaid or a small bag filled with flowers or rose petals for the younger ones.  Children also love to carry a fairy wand with a single flower attached.

Buttonholes and Corsages

Most bridegrooms breathe a sigh of relief when their moment arrives and they can choose their buttonhole!  We feel that his buttonhole must make a statement but not cause embarrassment; therefore it always has a distinctive design element but does not have to be huge to do so.

A buttonhole can be classic, stylish, modern or unusual.  Our ladies buttonholes can be bound and attached with a magnet as are our corsages. Flowers we frequently use are roses, gerberas, cala lilies and orchids but others such as tulips, gloriosa lilies, thistles and carnations are also popular.  The addition of a variety of interesting leaves and grasses make a simple buttonhole into an individual one. Buttonholes and corsages can also include Swarovski diamantes, crystals or pearls.  They are particularly beneficial in the father of the brides buttonhole (to compliment the bride) or in the mothers' corsages which may, as an alternative, be worn on a handbag or wrist.

Religious and Civil Ceremonies

Flowers for a church wedding are one of our specialities.  A church becomes even more beautiful with the addition of flowers, for example, pedestal arrangements, pew ends, windowcill arrangements and lytch gates.

In the case of a civil ceremony, the registrar's table is often decorated using the top table or a guest table arrangement but a display using the chosen flowers can always be provided. It can be a simple as a small vase or as ornate as a long and low arrangement along the front of the table.

Venue decoration

We have many ideas, incorporating both high and low arrangements and a wide variety of containers. We can supply mirrors, tea lights and tea light holders as well as a variety of fairy lights. All arrangements are designed to follow the theme of the wedding as depicted by the bridal bouquet and style of venue.

Cake Decoration

Wedding cakes can be decorated with fresh flowers in a variety of ways. Our photographs will give some suggestions. We are also willing to assemble the wedding cake if required, for a small additional cost.
