You Can Help Abingdon by Saving Box Tops for Education

Do you eat Cheerios cereal? Use Ziploc plastic baggies or Kleenex brand tissues? These are just some of the items containting a "Box Top for Education." Abingdon's YES Club (Youth Experiencing Success) collects the Box Tops and earns money ($.10 per Box Top) to purchase materials for the school's library. It's easy -- just clip labels or Box Tops from specially-marked products and take your clippings to the school. Students give them to their homeroom teachers for a grade-level competition.

You can view the list of products containing the special Box Top label here: http://www.boxtops4education.com/earn/clip/Brands.aspx

And, even if you don't have a student at Abingdon and just want to support the school, we're happy to take your Box Tops off your hands!  Just mail them to:

Abingdon Elementary PTA
Abingdon Elementary School
3035 S. Abingdon Street
Arlington, VA 22206

Send us your Campbell's Labels for Education too!

SHOP ONLINE at BOX TOPS MARKETPLACE!

Box Tops also has a marketplace where you can shop online at more than 100 different vendors, all the while raising money for Abingdon.

Just go to
www.boxtops4education.com and click on "Join Box Tops" in the upper lefthand corner.  It costs you nothing to set up a user name and password, which you can link to Abingdon.  Then, all you have to do is shop at your favorite online merchants -- Target, Kohls, 1-800-Flowers, Barnes and Noble, Shutterfly, and so many more!  Just access those merchants through the Box Tops Marketplace instead of going to their sites directly.  It's that simple and the money it earns for Abingdon adds up really, really quickly!

Do you collect Coke Rewards points?
You can donate your points to Abingdon at www.MyCokeRewards.com.  And, if you haven't registered yet, you can start collecting points for the Coca Cola products you drink -- soda, Minute Maid, Powerade, and Dasani water, too.  It's all free and online at www.MyCokeRewards.com.

We're collecting Capri Sun Juice Bags, Too!!
We've joined with Terracyle to "upcycle" empty juice bags into new products.  Go to www.terracycle.net and join the Abingdon Elementary PTA brigade.  You can print out shipping labels and send in your candy wrappers, lunchables containers and juice bags as part of our UpCycling Brigade!  You can also drop them off in the recycling bin in the school cafeteria.

And, don't throw out your old glue sticks!
There's a box in front of Ms. Sywilok's classroom.  Drop your used glue sticks in there and we'll upcycle those, too!
