About Me

Hi, I am Abhinav Mathur, a graduate student at department of Computer Science at Texas A & M University. I have taken this course because I am interested in the way humans interact with machines and computers in particular. My previous exposure to this area includes a work experience of 1 year in designing Intelligent User Interface at Fair Isaac Corporation, Bangalore. I have also done courses on Intelligent User Interface and Human Centered Systems. I wish to pursue deeper insights into the research going in this field through this course.

Media I Use
  • Television: I watch television shows like Friends, How I met Your Mother. and news on daily basis.
  • Portable Media: I use my Mac Book, iPod Touch and cell Phone very frequently.
  • Social Networking: I am regular visitor of various social networking sites like orkut, facebook to keep in touch with my friends and family located in geographically distant location.
  • Instant Messaging: I use instant messengers like skype, yahoo and iChat to communicate with my family in India.
  • Internet: I use Internet for a variety of tasks like reading news, watching movies and songs and even getting information related to my academics.
  • E books: For many courses I use e books instead of paper books as they can be carried any where in my portable devices.
