Commodore's Welcome

Welcome to Aberdour Boat Club’s web site.  The Club is situated in the attractive Fife village of Aberdour, on the north shore of the Firth of Forth. The harbour – though tidal – gives access on to the Firth, and the islands, skerries and tides provide for interesting boating!

The Club was founded in 1930 and has always encouraged boating of all kinds – canoes, rowing, power boats and sailing. We have an active racing and cruising programme and our August Regatta is one of the events of the Forth. We have a busy social programme throughout the year in our small and attractive Clubhouse, conveniently located at the root of the pier.

The Club membership is just over 100 and the Club is run very much on a self-help basis.The club is affiliated to both the Royal Yachting Association and the Forth Yacht Clubs Association.

This web site is for general information, but particularly for members to keep them up-to-date with club events and plans. We're always looking to improve our site, and would welcome suggestions that can be emailed to the ABC Webpage. General queries would be welcomed by the Club Secretary at secretary@aberdourboatclub.co.uk, or the Sailing SecretaryHappy sailing!
