Who are Aberdeen Fishkeepers Club?
If you are a passionate fish keeper or simply someone who would like to learn more about the joys of keeping fish then you are very welcome to come along to Aberdeen Fish Keepers Club. Our meetings are a great opportunity to meet new people who share a common interest. There's the chance to swap stories and tips, learn about fish health, breeding fish and advice on water quality for example, as well as hear talks from people with a specialist knowledge of fish keeping. Where do we meet?
The club is based in Aberdeen, and meets on the second Monday of every month at the 22 Club, 55b Rose Street, Aberdeen at 7.30pm. New Members are very welcome. The next meeting is on the 9 November 2009 and your chance to discuss your thoughts for the 2010 programme. Please come along with lots of ideas. On the 14 December we will have our annual Christmas meal and a great chance to catch up with friends Looking forward the first talk in January will be a talk on 'Collecting fish in Tobago'. What you missed in July What you missed in August A lively discussion on new fish, breeding successes and changes in members tanks. Three new members also joined us for the evening. Aberdeen Fishkeepers Club is a member of the Federation of British Aquatic Societies. If you are a UK resident the Federation of British Aquatic Societies can put you in contact with the branch of a fish keeping society that is local for you.
